[00:19:49] <phantomas> clover|M: tbh I'd rather have the choice, uki / dtbloader are fine but I'm pretty sure dtbloader doesn't supports dtb overlays, and dtbloader is limited to device it knows, and uki means you have to recreate the uki everytime your dtb/dtbo changes (and afaik merge the dtbo into the dtb yourself.)
[00:28:41] <phantomas> after double check, sdboot doesn't support dtbo(s) either for the moment (you need to merge the dtb(s) yourself), but it's still easier to have the relevant dtb under /boot if you need to modify them (e.g. for testing purposes or because you're merging dtbos into the base dtb)
