# blue-python-demo

A small Python library for trying a PyPI release.

## Install and use

After publishing to PyPI:

```bash
python -m pip install blue-python-demo
```

```python
from blue_python_demo import greet
print(greet("blue"))  # Hello, blue!
```

## Build and publish

From this directory, run:

```bash
uv build
uv publish
```

`uv build` creates a source distribution and wheel in `dist/`. `uv publish`
uploads them to PyPI using your configured credentials. Check the contents of
`dist/` before uploading. PyPI does not allow replacing a published version;
increase `version` in `pyproject.toml` for a later release.
