# intellign-tools

Official local-first Python SDK for Intellign Tools. It follows Intellign Tools Core Spec v1 and works in ordinary Python as well as frameworks such as Kivy, Django, Flask and FastAPI.

> Early development package. Not published to PyPI yet.

## Install locally

```bash
pip install -e ./packages/tools-python
```

## Images

```python
from intellign_tools import compress, resize, convert
with open("photo.png", "rb") as file:
    source = file.read()
small = compress(source, quality=80)
square = resize(source, width=1200, height=1200, fit="cover")
webp = convert(source, "webp")
with open("photo.webp", "wb") as file:
    file.write(webp.data)
```

## Audio

```python
from intellign_tools import inspect_wav
with open("master.wav", "rb") as file:
    info = inspect_wav(file.read())
print(info.sample_rate, info.bit_depth, info.channels)
```

## QR payloads

```python
from intellign_tools import create_qr_payload
qr = create_qr_payload("https://intellign.us", kind="url")
print(qr.payload)
```

## Kivy

The SDK does not depend on Kivy. Use the same primitives inside a Kivy application and pass the resulting bytes into your own UI or file workflow.

```python
from kivy.app import App
from intellign_tools import compress
# Inside your app or worker:
# result = compress(source_bytes, quality=80)
# result.data contains the processed image bytes.
```

## Privacy and execution

The current v1 primitives process working data locally in the Python runtime. They do not upload working files to Intellign.
